Synopsis

When a Hungarian clock maker sends his daughter specially crafted clocks with jewels hidden inside to help her fund getting refugees out of Hungary, the clocks never reach their intended destination when the train car they are traveling in gets in a wreck that eliminates the mailing address on the crate. The clocks end up under auction, one of which is purchased by Ray Palmer. Meanwhile, David Clinton manages to escape from his prison cell and resume his role as the costumed criminal Chronos. Chronos learns of the auction of the rare clocks and (totally unaware of the jewels hidden therein) seeks to steal them. When Ray's clock is stolen, he goes after Chronos to get them back, while Jean meets with the young woman who is seeking to find the clocks. After the Atom defeats Chronos, and turns the clocks over to the authorities. With the truth about their nature discovered, they make arrangements to have the jewels turned over to the woman to help her cause.
